Unlocking the Dividends in Africa's Climate Policy
Contexte: The African Climate Policy Centre influences, strengthens and enables the transition to climate-resilient development in Africa through responsive policies, plans and programmes towards transformed economies, healthy ecosystems and human well-being.This year, there’s been a lot of new interest in Africa’s carbon markets and a growing sentiment that Africa cannot be “nature-rich but cash-poor”.
Objectives; This event aims to;
-Provide an overview of good climate policy in Africa.
– Give three examples of new policies that are posirively impacting various economies.
-Outline the strategies to improve limate policy across Africa.

How to improve access to educational technologies in rural areas
Contexte: The rapid development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has considerably changed education worldwide. Cameroon is no exception, with the increasing use of technological tools in the education sector. Digital learning platforms enable students to easily access online courses, download and share documents, and participate in discussion forums with their peers.
In this Webinar, we will discuss the different ways in which educational technologies can be enhanced in rural areas, with concrete recommendations.
Objective: This Webinar aims to take stock of strategies that can improve access to educational technologies in rural areas.
Specifically, it will;
-Illustrate the role of educational technologies in the development of students in rural areas.
-Demonstrate the different educational technologies available in rural areas.
-Discuss the challenges and factors favoring the adoption of educational technologies in rural areas.
-Propose strategies to improve access to educational technologies in rural areas in Cameroon.

Impact of the AfCFTA and EPA on the Cameroonian Economy
Context: The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the Economic partnerhsip Agreement provides Cameroon with a unique oppportunityt o export regionally and internationally, respectively. SABC has saved FCFA 1.9 billion while Cameroon has a deficit with Europe estimated at 510 million. euros.
Meanwhile, World Bank research shows that the AfCFTA could lift 50 million people out of extreme poverty by 2035 and expand incomes by US$571 billion. How will both free trade agreements impact the Cameroonian economy.
Objectives: This panel discussion seeks to;
· Illustrate how the Cameroonian economy can benefit in practical terms from the AfCFTA and EPA.
· Outline what mechanisms are currently in place to help SMEs leverage the both Agreements.
· Propose strategies to encourage exports under the AfCFTA and the EPA in Cameroon.
